It's getting hot in here!

Apparently, this is beyond the wit of man to achieve! We've put someone on the moon, built planes that can't be detected by radars and managed to double the computing power of microchips every two years for decades. Yet the biggest engineering challenge to face us is finding a solution to improve the cooling on the tube so that humans at least have the same transport rights as cattle (it would be illegal to carry cattle in the overcrowded, overheated conditions everyone faces on the tube in the summer).

If you look at some of the 'joke' reader suggestions, they include putting ice in the carriages... amazingly, this was adopted as the plan! Have a look at:

Call me a cynic, but Red Ken is a true politician that's managed to spend a hell of a lot of our money on gimmicks and self-promotion, yet has done absolutely nothing to actually improve anything!

Arguably London is the capital of Europe and one of the greatest cities in the world. It's time to for serious change before Londoners become seriously ashamed of their home city
